A relatively rare variety, Clara Frijs is a "melt-in-your-mouth" summer pear with a buttery flesh and a flavor that has been likened to nectar. The round, yellow-green fruit is medium in size and can have a slight pink blush, with a crunchy, crisp texture and subtle honey sweetness.
